Viorica Muscat Ottonel

The Viorica de Purcari is a solitaire in the Purcari wine range. The grape was introduced to Moldova in 1969 after a successful viticulture experiment. The “parents” of Viorica are two red grape varieties – Seibel and Aleatico. Interestingly, the result of the crossing was a white grape variety.
